•Booking details: the services you book, provider names, appointment dates and times, and any notes you add to a booking.

•Device and usage data: approximate location (from zip code), and standard analytics to understand how the app is used.

How We Use Your Information

•To find and display beauty service openings that match your search criteria.
•To book and confirm appointments with providers on your behalf.
•To send booking confirmations, cancellation notices, and relevant reminders.
•To personalize results based on your zip code and search history.
•To improve our search matching, service offerings, and overall app experience.

How We Share Your Information

•With providers: when you book an appointment, we share your name and any booking notes with the service provider to fulfill the appointment.
•Service providers: we use trusted third-party tools for analytics, email delivery, and data storage. These partners only receive the information necessary to perform their functions.
•Legal compliance: we may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

Data Security

•We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your personal information.

Your Rights & Choices

•You can view and edit your profile information at any time from the Profile tab.
•You can delete saved services and past bookings from within the app.
•You can request full deletion of your account and associated data from the Profile tab under Privacy settings.
•You may opt out of certain notifications from the Notifications settings in your profile.

Data Retention

•We keep your account information for as long as your account is active.
•Booking records are retained to provide booking history and support rebooking.
•When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

Children's Privacy

•Open Chair is not intended for children under 13.
•We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
•If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

•We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements.
